A personal proposal for Mr. Sinclair Wilkinson · Prepared by Royalty Pilots
A simple plan for your book & your career

More people discovering
what you have to share.

Mr. Wilkinson, you have already done the important work: writing your book and sharing your knowledge of chess. We propose giving that work a welcoming home online.

Imagine your own chess center.

Your website is the front door. One room is a bookshop. Another introduces your teaching. A noticeboard shares your events and travels. And a reception desk helps people contact you. It is all at one easy-to-share address.

From a reader’s order to their doorstep

You share the knowledge.
We handle the practical steps.

Print on demand means a copy can be printed when someone orders it. You do not need to buy boxes of books, keep them at home, or pack and mail every order yourself.

1. A reader orders

They choose your book on your website and pay through a secure checkout.

2. We arrange it

Royalty Pilots receives the order and places the print-and-ship request through the approved publishing account.

3. A copy is made

IngramSpark uses Ingram’s print-on-demand services, including Lightning Source, to produce the book.

4. It goes to them

The printing provider ships the copy to the reader’s address. We help with order questions and follow-up.

This is a proposed managed fulfillment service. IngramSpark does not automatically receive an order simply because someone buys on a website. We bridge that gap. Production and delivery times depend on the book, destination, and shipping option.

What does this mean for your earnings?

Direct sales can leave you a larger share because the sale does not pass through a separate retail bookstore. Your actual earnings are the money collected, less printing, shipping, payment fees, applicable taxes, refunds, and any agreed fulfillment charges. We will confirm those costs with you before opening the shop.

More income and more sales are goals, not promises. A website gives people a place to buy; sharing your work helps them find it.

More than a bookshop

A home for
your whole career.

Your book opens the conversation. Your website gives that conversation somewhere to grow.

People can discover your background, ask about chess instruction, invite you to speak, and follow your work in the chess community.

Share where you are going

Tour dates, conferences, school visits, tournaments, and confirmed appearances.

Let people reach you

One place for questions about your book, lessons, interviews, and event invitations.

Keep your story current

Send us your news, photos, or updates. We publish them for you, even daily when you have new material.

You do not need to be a technology expert

Tell us what is new.
We take it from there.

You can send a short message, a photo, or a video. We turn it into a website update. Unlimited revisions and maintenance are included throughout your chosen website term.

That means you can request changes to wording, photos, book information, and news without a separate charge for each update. We agree on a practical turnaround for your requests.

The roadmap

One step at a time.

Review this website together

Tell us what feels right and what you would like changed. We refine the design and your story around you.

Prepare your book and your details

We confirm your approved biography, photos, contact details, book files, publishing rights, and ISBN arrangements. We check the existing Amazon and publisher setup before adding IngramSpark.

Connect the shop and test an order

We set up payment collection, calculate printing and shipping, agree on the money and order process, review a printed proof, and test the customer experience before launch.

Open the doors and keep it fresh

You share the website address with readers, schools, clubs, and event organizers. We maintain the website and manage the agreed book-order process.

Add social media if you choose

We set up your Facebook page and YouTube channel, guide you on what to share, and help upload the content you provide during the initial three months.

The service prices above are for website and support work. Book printing, delivery, payment processing, applicable taxes, proof copies, any publishing or file-preparation charges, and any per-order handling charge must be confirmed separately. Questions, in plain language

A few things you may be wondering.

Do I have to stop selling on Amazon?

No. The proposal adds a direct place to buy and a home for your career. Your Amazon listing can remain available. We review your existing publishing agreements before making any changes.

Do I need to print and mail the books myself?

No. Under the proposed service, we arrange printing and shipping to readers. We will agree on who holds the publishing account, how orders are paid for, and how your earnings are transferred.

What is IngramSpark, and what is Lightning Source?

IngramSpark is the service used to prepare and manage book printing and distribution. Lightning Source is part of Ingram’s print-on-demand operation. In everyday terms, they provide the printing and delivery behind your online bookshop.

What do I need to do for social media?

You provide the knowledge and personality: perhaps a short chess tip on video, a photo from an event, or a story about a student. We guide you and upload your approved material to Facebook and YouTube during the three-month support period. You do not need to learn everything at once.

Is this website already taking orders?

No. This is a concept for you to review. The direct-buy and contact buttons show how the experience will work, but no payments or messages are collected. Your approved information, shop, and contact details are connected before launch.

What happens when the website term ends?

We discuss renewal before the term ends. Renewal pricing, domain and account ownership, access to website files, and any transfer arrangements should be agreed in writing at the start.

Your next move

Start with the website.
Build from there.

Review the preview, choose a support option, and tell Royalty Pilots what you want your readers to see. We will confirm the details together before beginning the full service.
